Full Mouth
Reconstruction
What is a Full Mouth Reconstruction?
A full mouth reconstruction is a comprehensive treatment plan that combines multiple dental procedures with the goal of correcting a wide range of issues. These goals can include some or all of the following concerns: stabilizing or improving oral health, enhancing aesthetic appearance, and improving dental function or bite.

Every full mouth reconstruction is uniquely designed around the specific needs of each patient, so no two treatment plans are ever alike. The key to a successful full mouth reconstruction is not only a matter of which procedures are done, but also how they are staged and in what order. Each step of the treatment plan should flow seamlessly with the next while also offering optimal oral function, and patients will often have periods of downtime between procedures to see how their mouths adjust after each stage.
How a Full Mouth Reconstruction Works
Every full mouth reconstruction starts with a thorough oral exam, during which we will examine your teeth, gums, bite alignment, and other dental health factors. We will also take a variety of images, x-rays and scans to gain a further understanding of your mouth and how it functions. After discussing your goals and desires for your reconstruction, our doctor will formulate your customized treatment plan.
Your full mouth reconstruction may include some of the following treatments:
-
Porcelain Veneers: These are extremely thin porcelain shells that are fitted to the front of teeth, and can be designed to correct a variety of cosmetic issues including: stains, chips, cracks, gaps, and slight misalignments. You can get a few or an entire set to completely makeover your smile

-
Teeth Whitening: If your teeth have become stained due to factors such as age or food and drink, professional teeth whitening can effectively and safely brighten your smile.

-
Dental Bonding: We can quickly fix small chips, cracks, and gaps using a tooth-colored composite resin applied directly to your teeth.

-
Dental Crowns: These tooth-shaped restorations are made of a highly durable material and can be used to repair severely cracked and/or decayed teeth. They are custom made for your smile, and when made with porcelain, look beautifully natural.

-
Dental Implants: When it comes to replacing missing teeth, dental implants are simply the best treatment available. They reconstruct a tooth from root to crown, not only giving it a realistic appearance but unrivaled stability as well. Implants can be used to replace a single tooth, multiple teeth, or even to support a full denture.

-
Full & Partial Dentures: For those missing a few teeth or an entire arch, dentures offer an effective and affordable solution that can help people regain their complete smiles.

-
Periodontal Therapy: The health of the mouth is often dictated by the health of the gums. Gum disease treatments can make sure your mouth is completely free of gum disease and ready to support all of the dental work your reconstruction may involve.
